EXP2

UT2004 MODEL http://hosted.filefront.com/Jansenn/
{download jansenexp2.ut2)

Charles darwins space

the subtracted hole in the form brings in dynamic sunlight. creating a "lively atmosphere".

the ramp is straight forward, wastes no time, takes the client straight to the meeting point. It even penetrates through the wall creating another hole, in the lab.

Meeting space

the block in he middle, causes clients to pause and circulate the space, instead of just leaving teh ramp, and going into the next space.

The ceilling hieght starts to descend as u approach Hawkings space, and two extra walls are used to cover his lab. these forms lead to the amalgamation of the "hidden, confined" atmosphere of hawkings lab.

Hawkings space

open area
Hawkings Lab is much darker, with a complexed ramp that lead to different directions (like a dice). giving different possible destination, some hidden some open (like the above pic).
resembling "god sometimes throws dice, where it cannot be seen"

one of the brighter hidden spaces in Hawkings lab

hidden extention of hawkings ramp + a hidden room (hidden)

Hey Jansen

Your model looks great.

It is evident that in each room you have been considerate of the interior space, continuously adding elements or subtracting space to make it more interesting.

The textures you have used are also well drawn and works well in your spaces. I particularly like your use of lighting which helps emphasis on your client's quotes. For instance, the use of subtle coloured light in Hawkin's dark lab.

Excellent work =)=)

Jen =)
