EXP 2 week6

Charles darwins space tries to "value life" by having a space that does not confine the client to a small area, but forces the client to keep moving, or aproach much larger areas.

Steven Hawkings space brings spaces which are hidden, or can hide people or things, has more confined/small areas within the form.

3 QUOTES

Charles Darwin
" A man that dares to waste one hour of his time has not discovered the value of life"

- Stephen Hawking
"Not only does God play dice, but... he sometimes throws them where they cannot be seen."

florence nightingale
You ask me why I do not write something.... I think one's feelings waste themselves in words, they ought all to be distilled into actions and into actions which bring results.

sketchup Models

FIRST DRAFT MODEL (spin, shocking)

SECOND DRAFT MODEL (TANK, sleep)

FINAL MODEL (TANK, SLEEP)
[file was too large, unable to upload to Google warehouse, so i uploaded it somewhere else, FILE WILL EXPIRE IN 7 DAYS, so please download it quick)

model with textures

the Deep window sills on top studio is filled with the texture "uplifting"

Sofa is textured

after deleting the middle level, leaving only one level
interior space looks much more interesting,

stiars are filled with different textures, to go with the random theme of the stairs
just like how it is randomly stacked. Careless, like when you are asleep
(word = SLEEP)

Stairs go down straight and curl around the working place,
giving a good view of the artist's works in production.

Sketchy Sections for TAM

thick walls with deep windows

should i make the room smaller? to relate to the word TANK?
as tanks are usually tight

lower building relates the word sleep.
A larger building(taller), hence deeper underground, resemblign a deep sleep

stairs are not uniform, stacked messy, like the bed!
constant changing patterns, resemble Artist sleeping patterns?

stairs turn and move pass the underground window

the bottom studio, has two levels, top level is kind of useless.. could probably be used for storage? maybe i should delete it and just form one level

testing low angle with shadow and sketchy,
gives superior feeling with comparison to woman at bottom of stairs

TANK low angle shot

CLICK ON IT,
see the picture larger, it looks better,
along with my other pics

both the stairs and the upper studio, relates to the word "TANK"
Thick Heavy, bulky/thick walls, like a tank.
A Defensive room, with small entrance from under, and small windows
Strong rigid rectangular/cube room, and stairs.
notice how entrance is unusual, small, like a tanks but from under the building.

i plan to also use the stairs to place displays of art works

EDIT: studio was made smaller to resemble confined space in TANKS
such a confined secret space, is perfect for Da Vinci, to keep his valuable innovative creation/research safe.
